The slowness of the site is due to the really cheap hosting I am currently using.
I have just leased a new dedicated hosted server, I will begin moving over domains and data and the move should be complete in a few days.
Thanks for your patience with the sluggish and crazy nature of the performance of this server. I looked and currently the DB server my hosting company has me using is used by 185 other websites, yes 185.
Expect better performance soon!
Thanks!

The host service has been setup, waiting for domains to get transferred off current hosting provider. Should be wrapped up this week.

DNS Updates in place should be populated around net tonight. Have moved forum DB to new DB server. Should see some improvement with the forum speed. Hoping to get everything wrapped up early morning tomorrow with move.

Moved both the webservers and SQL servers feeding DvdCrate.com to new hosting equipment. I split out the Forums and Bugtracker to be on the DvdCrate.net domain so I can utilize different hardware sets. Hopefully this should show some speed improvements.
Until all the DNS servers get populated I setup WWW2 to point to the new servers and put a re-direct on the WWW site. So if you hit DvdCrate.com and see the WWW2 address, you know you have a slow ISP DNS server ;) This should be all cleaned up in about 2 days or so.
Growth has been great, its nice to see 30k pages being served a day - hopefully the ad traffic will cover the hosting costs.
