It is most important when you are editing or submitting a Disc that you ensure the UPC number is entered exactly as it in on the case of the disc.

Please include all digits on the bottom portion of the UPC code including any prefix and post "0". The UPC number should be 12 digits in length for UPCA (North American Discs) and 13 digits in length for EAN13 (European and else where).

In the above UPC example the proper UPC would be "012345678905"

In the above EAN example the proper UPC would be "0012345678905"

It is recommended you use a simple USB scanner (like the "CueCat" device) to scan the UPC, this greatly cuts down on typos.

If you are entering the number correctly and you receive an error stating "UPC Is not Unique" then you are attempting to add a disc that already exists in the database.

If you are entering the number correctly and you receive an error stating "UPC Failed Validation Check" most likely you are leaving off the last digit (the last digit is the checksum digit used to validate the UPC number).

If the Disc does not have a UPC number, contact us.

Thanks!
