I have like 10 of these things, half of which I got for free with purchase of my $99 Black Tuedsay Walmart sale of the Toshiba AD2. I did include HDDVD as a valid DVD type in DVDCrate, I was just wondering if anyone is actually actively collecting these? I guess they might be on the cheap now.

I'm certainly still collecting them. Just picked up about 5 or so from invetvideo.com, and another 4 for myself and 1 for the father-in-law from blockbuster.com. They have a 30% off code (holidaysurprise) and cheap shipping.. plus all the hd-dvds on there are priced at 7.99 or less. I just wish I would have seen it sooner.. the ocean's trilogy would have been a steal at around 7.00 or so.

They are cheap right now, and I am certainly hanging on to mine. I don't mind them not making players anymore, I just wish we could still get new releases on HD-DVD.

While my HD DVD collecting has slowed quite considerably as I near the 300 mark, there are still a few titles out there that I'm looking to pick up. I for one am glad you have them as a valid type.
